My Summer

Hi you guys!
You may not know, but I've been on a 7 week vacation abroad (sorry for not blogging) and I've got so much to share with you! It was quite hard to blog or even share my stories since I didn't have my laptop, nor did I always have access to the internet, but here I am, and I'm just going to share some of the wonderful memories I made.

First stop: Thailand

This is the first I've ever been to Thailand, and I went with my family, to Bangkok and Pattaya. The night life there is amazing, and the people are so friendly. I guess this is because Thailand is such a tourist destination, everywhere I went I could see foreigners exploring too. Although I never got the chance to visit any islands, the beaches there looked pretty amazing. I travelled with my (asian) family, so we didn't actually try that much Thai food, since they wanted Chinese food (I don't know if any of you have the same problem). When I did try the food, it was pretty good! Although, I'm not so good with the spice. Thailand is definitely a dream destination, and for many a place on their bucket lists. If I were you, I'd definitely visit here.

2nd stop: Hong Kong

Hong Kong to me is like my second home, my parents were originally from the city, and so it would make sense that I return there every couple of years. I'm glad I speak the language (Cantonese) because it's just easier, however Hong Kong pretty much speaks English too! Let me tell you that the food there is extraordinary, whether you're at 大牌檔 (Dai Pai Dong, a type of food market stall) or a posh restaurant, you'll find amazing foods. I pretty much ate out everyday, and it's decently priced too, depending on where you go. There's a lot you can do in HK, the main for me, being shopping. I've bought so many new clothes and makeup there. It's great, because in Asia so many Korean cosmetics (I'll review them soon!) are a lot cheaper than if you import them in the uk. Langham place in Mong Kok is definitely one of the biggest shopping centres around, but I prefer going to smaller malls since there's more to buy and at a better price. They've closed down a lot of arcades and centres, but one of my favourite things to do in HK is take sticky pics, these are where you take pictures with friends that print out, and you can edit/draw them with lots of cute things. I also went to Cheung Chau (a close island to HK) and the view and seafood is undeniable, you simply have to go there. The only bad thing is humidity I guess, it can get so warm, and walking around all sweaty is never nice. I can't wait till I return to this beautiful city, and hope you guys love it as much as I do!

3rd stop: Vietnam

This trip was a little getaway for my 3 year anniversary with my boyfriend. We decided to head to Ho Chi Minh and Da Nang. I wasn't a big fan of the food apart from Pho, because I can't really handle my spice, but the views were incredible, and I have such a lovely time. We went with friends on this trip, and planned to go to a resort in Da Nang, which was the best part. You guessed it, private pool, private butler and super big rooms. Along with all this, my boyfriend (trying to be super cute), planned and hired out the beach for a candle-lit dinner, which included a 8-course meal with our private BBQ. That night was unforgettable, lying there looking up at the stars, and just being able to take in the view and how lucky I am. The city was so busy in comparison to what I call paradise. I wish I could of stayed longer, but being able to have a getaway was so lovely since we don't have much time to ourselves, or see each other. Yes, it was very romantic, and I was full to the brim after that meal, but I enjoyed my time there so much!

I have to say it was the most amazing summer, I'm happy to be back in the UK, but I've also made a lot of memories this year, and had so much fun travelling.
I hope you've enjoyed this post, and was able to experience a part of the journey with me too! I will be blogging soon about all the great beauty products I've got.
Let me know what kind of things you want me to blog about in the future!
Sending all of you lots of love,
Kelly
